Welcome Tony! I am an entrepreneur and I appreciate Medium lots - both to get inspired and to share my thoughts.

Here are my two (actually three) cents:

1) Please don't just exclude stories about making money on Medium from the Partner Program, but CHARGE those guys for writing each and every story about making money on Medium. As a penalty for stealing their reader's time. A downvote button could be an adequate metric to determine their dues.

2) Please ignore all the whining of editors along the lines of "I make less money because you changed the algorithm". Entrepreneurs always need to adapt to new situations, it's an evil world out there. Those who can't cope with being entrepreneurs can go back into regular employment; there are lots of open positions all over the place.

3) With all the comments saying writing should be deeper, longer, and more meaningful - I tend to disagree. One reason I turn to Medium so often as an entrepreneur is because I can find advice and inputs in a few minutes. I simply don't have the time to read an entire Ph.D. thesis on a subject, and I don't need super-nice wordings when I'm looking for inputs on how to solve a problem. To balance everyone's needs and wishes, what about introducing super tags "no-nonsense advice", "fiction", "art & poems" or the like in your algorithm?

Always happy to discuss my requests in a web call with somebody from your team if that's more helpful than merely throwing over some lines in a post response.

Best, Tom
