INSPIRATION FOR RESILIENT ENTREPRENEURS
“Next Stop — Zermatt”. Why This Announcement Puts a Smile on My Face
Since I was a kid, my source of strength has always been the mountains.
I’m fuelled by a passion for what I do.
I don’t have a job, I am on a mission.
I’m driven by purpose for the greater good.
My family means everything to me.
Have you heard such statements before? I have seen them on social media way too often. Of course, all entrepreneurs are driven by passion, mission, and purpose. And yes, the family is an essential source of strength and support for any entrepreneur.
But with all the passion, mission, purpose, and family, sometimes I feel dead-tired and powerless after a series of beehive days at Yonder. Building a company is a marathon that takes years, so you need a secret source of strength — more specific than passion, mission, purpose, or family.
Since I was a kid, my source of strength has always been the mountains.
My mum noticed when I was 9 and we were returning to Switzerland from Poland by car. When we reached Austria and saw the mountains, apparently I cheered up. Ask my mum for further details.
