Joe, you are so right. I had a call with one of my demanding customers today and he told me straight to the face that he is the paying customer, he is always right, and that I would have to do what he demands because he is the paying customer. Never in my career did I have to endure more insults in a call. I'll follow your advice, and I salute you for it :-)
