Hi Bart, thanks for your questions. Here are my answers:

- What are your building insulation characteristics (Rc / U values, Qv50), what is the net heat demand in kWh/m2?

--> I don't know exactly, but the building is certified according to Minergie-P, which mandate an U value of 0.1 W/m2K

- You use a lot less electricity in June and July, is that because of holidays?

--> that's correct. We don't drive the cars as much during the summer holidays, as my wife is a teacher :-)

- Your total solar production seems to be larger than your total demand. Is that correct?

--> that's correct. This is a tradeoff between achieving high self-sufficency in the spring and autumn months.

- If everyone would have a house like you and, additionally to personal energy storage would use the Limmern PHES, how much 'self-use' would you achieve. Is it possible to get through the 'dunkelflaute'?

--> hard to say as I haven't modelled this on the macro level. From my gut feeling, I would say yes this would get us through the "dunkelflaute". Even with efficiency losses that come with seasonal storage...
