Hey, can I request a feature? It would be awesome if writers could edit their footers separately from their articles. In this way, it would be much easier to update mailing list links, remove Medium invitations, etc.

Here are the core feature components I would like to see:

1) User must be able to define multiple footers

2) Use must be able to choose a predefined footer for every article

3) User must be able to change from one predefined footer to another, even for an already-published article

4) User must be able to edit predefined footers, with immediate updates on all articles where a footer is used.

How does this sound to the community?
