Have you heard this before? Frankly, commuting to work and going to business meetings by car is a complete waste of time if you live in a place with a good train network.
I am spoiled to call Switzerland my home country, and we have an awesome train network. We take great pride in our trains. We even complain when a train runs three minutes late, as this tiny delay might botch the tight connection to the local bus that takes us right in front of our doorsteps.
